From the Rosie Committee of SCAP
Nominations are now open for the 2027 Rosanne Fitzgibbon Editorial Award (the Rosie), IPEd’s biennial award recognising excellence in editing. Established in 2016 in memory of distinguished editor Rosanne Fitzgibbon DE, the Rosie celebrates the vital role editors play in shaping exceptional books. The award recognises excellence demonstrated in a single published work and carries a $4,000 cash prize and a framed certificate.
How to nominate
To submit a nomination:
- Read the 2027 Rosie nomination guidelines.
- Complete the 2027 Rosie nomination form.
- Email the completed form and supporting documents to secretary@iped-editors.org.
- Send 3 copies of the nominated work as outlined in the nomination guidelines.
Eligibility overview
Projects published between 22 October 2024 and 21 October 2026 are eligible for the 2027 award. Nominations may be submitted by the editor, author or publisher. The nominated editor must be an IPEd professional member or a nominated staff member under an IPEd corporate or organisational membership throughout the nomination and award process.
