Welcome to the June issue of Gatherings.
We announced the new title last month and this month we unveil the masthead.
Communications Working Party acting chair Ruth Davies has summed up what the masthead means to her: ‘Here’s a pen journeying from left to right, stop a while, here’s a story, perhaps it’ll set you free, or not, and so we continue on.’
Congratulations to Ruth, who was appointed chair of the IPEd board at its last meeting on 25 May. She replaces Kerry Davies (no relation) who has stepped down as chair but remains a board member. We look forward to working with Ruth as IPEd navigates its way through the next iteration of the strategic plan F20–F23.
This month we are introducing a new element to the newsletter, a profile of one of our office bearers. The aim is for the membership to get to know the IPEd leadership team members and find out what makes them tick. We’re asking them to share something about themselves by telling us about their work, their interests and what IPEd means to them.
