Brisbane summer picnic

The picnic was a triumph of quality over quantity! One of the good things about it was that it didn’t rain. Low turnout seems to persist; I think we should persist too, to see if people will come out of the post-COVID-19 woodwork.

Still plenty in store for 2022!

It has been a bit of a stop/start launch into 2022, but there are still plenty of activities on the calendar to keep the energy high. There will be more social lunches, Friday evening drinks, as well as Speaker Zoom evenings, and workshops, care of the Standing Committee for Professional Development. Don’t forget to mark 10 August in your calendars for the return of the Great Two-State Debate. EdsQ drew the affirmative position and will fight to keep the title in our great state arguing “The Australian Style Manual should adopt Title Case for the Titles of Publications”. Don’t miss this fun highlight of the EdsQ Events year.
