As the year draws to a close,
Time to reflect a bit I ‘spose…
OK twenty twenty five:
I’m thankful that I’m still alive,
But were those resolutions licked?
And all those boxes fully ticked?
Were my tenses up to scratch?
And did all of my formats match?
Was there grammar that I missed?
(I hope it’s not too large a list)
Punctuation straight and true?
Unforced errors? (Hopefully few!)
Contented clients? Yes indeed!
They’re happy with my style and speed.
So yes, I’ve spread much editing cheer,
Enough to last me to next year!
