Victorian workshop 31 July

Advanced Microsoft Word 2007 for Editors with Emma Koch focuses on the ways in which templates, styles and formatting, and macros can assist editors to reduce repetitive tasks. Much of an editor's job involves repetitive work, especially as the technological requirements of the role continue to become more complex. Utilising features available in Microsoft Word 2007 to automate tasks improves both efficiency and accuracy. At the end of the course, editors should be able to create their own templates, styles and customised macros. The course is on Saturday, 31 July at a central Melbourne location, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $130 for members (Soc Eds, APA, ANZSI, ASTC, VWC) and $190 for non-members. Please visit the training page at www.socedvic.org for details and how to book.
