The following points update information provided in Accreditation 2009: Guide for candidates since it was uploaded to this site in July 2009: <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

· Sufficient registrations have been received, and the exam will go ahead as scheduled on Saturday 12 September 2009.

· Registrations for the 2009 exam are now closed.

· The extract for editing and the author queries sheet for Part 2 of the exam will be provided as loose pages; the brief and style sheet will be in the exam booklet. One of the questions in Part 3 will also be provided as loose pages. At the end of the exam, you will need to place these loose pages in the plastic sheet provided, along with the exam booklet and any special style guide used.

· The revised 2009 sample exam and answer guide are now available on the IPEd website at <http://www.iped-editors.org/content/accreditation-program>.

· Water will be provided to candidates sitting the exam, but you may bring your own beverages and snacks.

· No part of the sample exam or sample exam answer guide may be brought into the exam room.
