The IPEd Accreditation Board conducted the third Accreditation Exam on Saturday 21 May 2011 at venues in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

The next accreditation exam will be held after IPEd Council and its Accreditation Board have discussed the responses to the exam discussion paper and have decided how to manage future exams. The Accreditation Board's recommendation  to Council is to pursue Option 7 in the paper.

Report on 2011 exam

The IPEd accreditation exam is designed for competent editors with at least three years’ full-time editing experience or equivalent; it is not intended as an entry-level exam.
